You may have seen that our new artificial courts are down and ready for play. They look great and we hope you enjoy them.
The considerable amount of work necessary to prepare the old surface, choose the new surface, arrange the contract, oversee the contractors and generally supervise the work is due to a small subcommittee of the main committee. The Club Committee extends its gratitude to the sub-committee for all their hard work.
The courts will take a few months to properly settle and for the weight of the sand-infill and for regular play to smooth out the few, inevitable wrinkles and dead spots. This is completely normal.
Please enjoy the new courts and if you have any questions or feedback, do let any member of the committee know.
